Carbon and clay become drawing instruments, earth pigments and plant oils become paint, and wood and woven fibres provide surfaces for the art. Molly Clark paints and draws the natural world using the materials her images represent. Raised a Saskatchewan farm kid, Molly Clark has called Saskatoon, Saskatchewan home since the late 1990’s. The underlying theme in her work is simply to see the beauty in our natural surroundings. She is a returning member of the Saskatoon painters’ group Artists’ Workshop. Her work can be seen at And Art Gallery in Davidson, Saskatchewan and Black Spruce Gallery, Waskesiu in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan, Canada
